Why We Stay is a horror play which tells the story of five university students as they arrive at a hotel for a final weekend away. Cameron is about to graduate and move to London to start his new career, so the friends decide to have a final celebration of his success and say goodbye. Whilst they are at the hotel, one of the friends, Sydney, meets Iris, who has been staying at the hotel for quite some time. This mysterious girl immediately grabs her attention and Sydney is eager to learn more about her. Whilst the friends are at the hotel, they notice that everyone else is not quite as normal as they first appeared. An uneasiness begins to build and tensions start to rise as the friends are questioning everything and everyone around them.
